Day 4: There's a hole in my pocket...

When I have money, I shouldn't be allowed to go on Ebay.
Money burns a hole in my pocket.

This was too cute to pass up:

But I needed a holder for my brushes anyway. :P

Day 3: A day of adventures

What does Cierra look like today?

Well, I'm about to go shopping. Then I'm going to a barbeque and then I'm going to hang out with some friends and play some games. I'll blog all about it when I get home. I just thought I'd get a picture up to tide you over until my return. (:
- 10:25 am

First stop: Mac Cosmetics
So, I went in knowing I wanted to get a Red Velvet shadestick from Mac's Sugarsweet collection.. well.. they were all sold out of the shadestick so I ended up looking around and it resulted in me buying more than I thought.

Final inventory:
- Stars N' Rockets (eyeshadow)
- Passionate (eyeshadow)
- Chrome Yellow (eyeshadow)
- Politely Pink (lipstick)
- Magenta (lip liner)
- 15 tray pallet

Second stop: Louis Vuitton
So, before you say anything to the effect of "damn, this girl is spoiled" I didn't buy anything. I found one purse I was absolutely in love with. Unfortunately, it came with a $1,800 price tag which, I'm sad to say, is extremely out of my price range. I can't tell you how often I wish I could just walk into a store and buy whatever I wanted without having to concern myself about prices. That day will never come.

Final inventory:
None

Third stop: Starbucks
Not a lot to say about my trip to Starbucks other than I got my usual: a venti, 4 pump classic, strawberry passion tea.
I added a sausage breakfast sandwich to my order. It was delicious. <3

Final inventory:
- Venti passion tea
- Sausage breakfast sandwich

Fourth stop: My secret store
So, I walked in, walked around and ended up bring about 20 items into the dressing room with me. I ended up buying 5. Gosh, I feel bad for the people who had to put them back. :(

Final inventory:
- 2 pairs of skinny jeans
- 2 pairs of ballet slipper shoes
- 3 spaghetti strap tops
- 1 short sleeve top reading "It's ok, I forgot your name too."

(If I'm not too lazy later I'll stick up a picture)

Final stop: Mac cosmetics
So, I ended up going to a different mall 30 minutes away to get my silly shadestick. They were in stock.. so I bought 2.

When I was going to pay, I fell in love with a green eyeshadow. I couldn't control myself so I bought it as well and just told myself I'll work it off this weekend. :P

Final inventory:
- 2 Red Velvet (shadestick)
- Bitter (eyeshadow)

Well, it looks like I have a date in about 30 minutes so off I go! Sorry if this blog was boring. :(

Day 2: Ho hum...

What does Cierra look like today?

So, not a very exciting day today. So far,I've  just done a lot of boring stuff: wake up, eat a brownie, get ready, go to school, sit in the enrollment center at school for two hours trying to choose one class to take this fall, come home, check my grades, blog.

Once again, Pilates class whooped my butt. My lack of both balance and arm strength is really getting used against me. It also doesn't help that my hands and feet slide on the pilates mat every two seconds.

I signed up for all my summer and fall 2009 classes today. As for that one class, I ended up going for beginners piano. I have had some piano experience and the class is for "people with little or no piano experience." So, I expect it to be pretty easy.

When I was on my way home from school I saw a nasty accident. It took about five minutes to go half of a mile. Everyone just HAS to stop and stare. Anyway, there was 1 fire engine, 3 cop cars and an ambulance. Also, you know how usually in an accident one car looks trashed and the other has barely any damage? This was no exception. One car had it's front end completely ripped to shreds while the other had a crunched front end.. but at least it was there.

ANYWHO...
I'm excited to say that both the Biology test I took today and the Statistics test I turned in yesterday were both graded and posted.
Statistics test: 88% (not bad for doing the whole thing the day it was due :P)
Biology test: 89.5%

Hm, what else could I possibly say on an uneventful day like today?

My mom decided to experiment in the kitchen and make a homemade spaghetti sauce which I'm sure will be delicious. It makes me want to do some cooking. I think I'll make homemade cheesecake this weekend. I just need to find a good recipe. Hm.. I think I am going to try to find the Cheesecake Factory's recipe online.

Speaking of this weekend, for once I'm getting an actual weekend. I don't have any homework to do or any tests to study for. There's nowhere I absolutely have to be. So, I guess it will be a weekend of hanging out with friends and shopping. That's always fun. Maybe I'll take a few pictures this weekend and post them in a blog. Who knows!

Hot:
Gossip Girl
Good test grades

Not:

Non potty-trained dogs

Playground Fun

Today, I felt something I haven't felt in a long time. It was a feeling of childhood, of freedom. It made me realize how much I miss the days of complete innocence. You know, when your biggest worry was being the most popular kid on the playground and you didn't have to worry about money and school was your job. Now, there's so many responsibilities to stress over.

Anyway, today I took an hour out of my time and visited a park near my house. I played in the sand, slid down slides, did cartwheels in the grass and swung on baby swings. It may sound immature but I haven't had fun like that in a long time. Sure, hanging out with friends, playing Wii and watching discovery channel is cool but this was a different kind of fun. It was the kind where you didn't care if you learned something and there's no win or lose. It's a feeling of letting go and not caring if people look at you funny or laugh when they watch you, an 18-year-old, acting like a four year old.

It's always fun when you get a little taste of something you once loved.
It's like putting on that old, worn-in pair of jeans in the back of your closet and realizing how well they fit. (:

Relationships...

This morning I woke up two hours earlier than necessary. After getting up to get a glass of water, I couldn't fall asleep. So, I just laid there staring at my ceiling and letting my mind wonder. It's kind of crazy what you'll think about when you have complete silence and darkness.

Over the last two hours, I think I have gone over every relationship I've ever had that lasted more than two weeks.

I thought about why some succeeded while others failed; why I pushed away almost any guy that was remotely good to me for guys that were clearly wrong.

I wondered why I eased away from certain people away even though they were potentially everything I could have ever wanted while I held onto relationships and people who clearly didn't fit.

I wondered if certain people would ever give me another chance even though I either messed up or blew off my first, second and third chances.

I wondered why I tried so hard to make it work with certain people while I let other people slip away while they were struggling to hold on.

I wondered why I went back to certain people, why I would still go back to others and why there are some I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.

I wondered what I was thinking when I went back to the certain person over and over again even though it yielded the same result every time.

I wondered if I would ever be forgiven for certain actions.. or if I would ever forgive certain actions.

I asked myself multiple times why I let one mistake hover over me like a rain cloud... why I let it haunt me even though it happened years ago.

I asked myself why I ended things certain ways and why I let it end so horribly with one person in particular.

I thought about new people coming into my life and where I see it going. I thought about how I pictured these relationships ending.. which I guess really isn't the best place to start but I'm usually right about these things.

It was a very intuitive two hours.

The strangest part about the whole thing is who I thought of the most while thinking about the past year or two. It was completely unexpected but not completely irrational. This is the first person I contemplated telling my biggest secret to even though I only knew him through other people for the longest time and even though it was our second date.. if you want to call it a date. I remember standing with him in a random subdivision. I stole his cell phone and stuck it down my shirt sleeve. What I recall most clear was the fact that he just asked for it politely. He didn't fight to retrieve it at all. It made me feel so comfortable. It makes me wonder what would have happened if I handled things differently... If I didn't blow him off.

I'm not sure if I'll act upon all the things I thought about this morning, tying up loose ends, or if I'll just let it all just rest in my mind and let it all go.
